About the Artwork

Each piece in Carefree Garden unfolds like a small visual fable. Rather than depicting a clear narrative, the artworks weave together spontaneous gestures, delicate marks and symbolic traces that leave the story intentionally open. Chaos and tenderness coexist in a fragile balance, allowing meaning to emerge naturally rather than being imposed.
The viewer is invited into this space of freedom—one where interpretation flows without judgement and where authenticity becomes its own form of beauty. Every artwork offers a quiet moment of pause, a place to explore emotion, intuition and the subtle poetry hidden within abstraction.

Materials & Techniques

The works in Carefree Garden are created through a mixed-media process that combines acrylics, oils, charcoal, ink, natural pigments and textured pastes. Layers are washed, diluted, superimposed and reworked to form organic atmospheres where spontaneous gestures coexist with more deliberate interventions.

All pieces are made collaboratively under the artistic identity of Manel. Alex and Alejandro work on the same surface, sometimes alternating turns and other times painting simultaneously. Their process is guided by trust, intuition and attentive listening—each responding to the marks left by the other, refining or expanding them until the composition finds its balance.
This shared approach gives the collection its distinctive character: works that feel free yet intentional, open yet coherent, expressive yet deeply harmonious.
